Introduction:

The Assembly Duplicator/Viewer program can be used to duplicate existing Assemblies in QuickBooks up to 99 times. In the addition, the program can print the details of all Assemblies on one report and can also produce a "Where Used" report. Requirements:

The program requires either Microsoft Access 2000 to 2007 or the free Microsoft Access Runtime engine which can be downloaded further down this page. The program works with Win 2000, XP and Vista.

The program works with QuickBooks versions shown in the "Works With" column in the the next paragraph.

Access Runtime Engine:

If you don't have Microsoft Access 2000 to 2007 you can use the free Microsoft Access Runtime engine instead of the full version of Access. To do this,

1. Click at right to download the Access Runtime Engine (33 meg): ARTinstall.exe

2. Install the Runtime Engine by double clicking the downloaded ARTinstall.exe file.

3. Download the program from A above and install it.

8.03 (04/08/09) Corrected duplicate index problem. Added descriptions to the Where Used report. Can export Where Used data to Excel.

8.01 (01/23/08) Added Canadian 2008 capability. Now includes the unit-of-measure setting in the data duplicated. No longer drops multi-line descriptions created using shift-enter at the user interface. All the data is now retained but as a single line since the new line character in the original description cannot be duplicated.

6.05 (01/19/08) Corrected overflow problem which occurred in certain situations. The Assembly report will now page faster.

6.04 (01/18/08) Corrected duplicate index problem when using Canadian QuickBooks. Screens and reports no longer show XML encoding for special characters. Main screen now sorts alphabetically instead up by date created.
